COMPREHENSIVE DENTAL TREATMENT
|
Since its foundation, the major activities of the Academy have been directed to the promotion of the scientific research in the field of occlusion and its related areas. We believe that the findings and their application to the clinical settings will greatly contribute to the general welfare of the population. Construction of a comprehensive dental treatment system, therefore, is our task of primary importance as a professional organization.
Rehabilitation of the form and function of the stomatognathic system must be achieved through full appreciation and assessment of all associated areas including pedodontics, endodontics, periodontics, reconstruction with implants, and temporomandibular joint disorders. Our areas of research cover every organ of the system including temporomandibular joints, masticatory muscles, and periodontal tissues.
